I worked with Mark at The College of Saint Rose and he was the lead network administrator in a major upgrade of our computer network. This was an upgrade from core to edge and a major undertaking for the college. Mark had to manage a team to get the network up and running and he was a good person to work with and respected by his coworkers. His approach to managing network services, maintenance, and training was highly professional and greatly respected, both by end users and management. There were many other projects that Mark was a key part of at The College of Saint Rose, such as a phone system upgrade, major wiring projects, and a new campus wide printing solution. Mark was my go-to guy for all things technical including portable satellite internet equipment, solar power, netbook computers, tablets, video conferencing systems, domain names, etc., etc. Anything I threw at him he would research and come back with a great solution. This usually included purchasing and shipping equipment internationally. Sometimes it also included him traveling internationally for the setup and installation.
